come on kinja, get your shit together. anything kinja makes Chrome freeze constantly.
this is getting worse and worse. Yes i re-installed chrome, disabled all extensions, cleaned all traces of chrome in my computer....
Only kinja pages do this.

Yup, all the time for me. Sometimes it’s on the very first page I visit. Sometimes it’s on the fifth. It always happens though.

Been a problem with me when going from one kinja page to another for a while. Felt like it got better recently, but definitely happening again the past few days. Only an issue on my desktop so I wouldn’t be shocked if it is some configuration related thing.

This is a problem for me too, because I use a chromebook at home to browse oppo.

Do they/we/anyone know why this is occurring? I’m getting a lot more freezes too on simple things like page refreshes.

It does it all the ruddy time on mine (Chrome). There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it to happen.
Sometimes if I click to another tab and then come back it does it, but not all the time, sometimes if I’ve stayed on the same page for a while.
I have to either open another tab and OPPO then close the other stab that’s stalled or close and then reopen the tab.
It boils my pi55.

same here,usually random occurrences, that i just kill the tab, once, twice, then maybe a 3rd time. but today just like every page i click or scroll through

I think if it happened more often I could get used to it but as it is, it’s so random that it really irks me when it happens.

i’m using chrome on my windows 7 64bit system, i5 with 8gb of ram and have a SSD harddrive.
